Roles and responsibilities:
- Hardware-Software Integration Testing at Sub-System Level.
- Determining Test Requirements, Creating New Test Cases, and Schedules for software development.
- Create meeting to review the data from the testing.
- Creativity and drive to improve current processes.
- Being able to work along with a team and communicate projects activities.
- Onsight working.
Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competencies):
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science; or 5 years’ experience in the field.
- Hardware and Software Integration Testing
- Hands-On/ SIM testing.
- Understanding Test Requirements.
- Write Test Cases for Multiple Sub-Systems
- Microsoft Office
Desired Skills:
- Toll Gate Process
- Understanding of DOORs/ClearQuest
- Knowledge of RS 422/232 Serial Comm.
- Strong Analytic and HW Troubleshooting Skills
- Ability to Interact with multiple stakeholders at all the levels.
Physical Requirements and work environment:
- Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor Involvement.
- Must be able to climb stairs to safely abroad heavy equipment vehicle and in the test cells.
- Abilities and willingness to work “hands-on” in test labs and on heavy equipment vehicles.
- Need to be able to carry at least 25 pounds.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily regulated industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch/ 40 hour work week/ core (required) hours 8am to 4pm. With possible overtime/off shift.
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
- Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
